ALPHA MARATHON: Start-up of extrusion line

THAILAND Alpha Marathon Film Extrusion Technologies has started up the 1600 mm (63″) wide 5-layer barrier and lamination film line supplied to Express Plaspack Co., a Thailand-based flexible packaging solution provider. The new blown film line has an output of up to 350 kg/h (772 lb/h) while producing EVOH and PA barrier film. The customer specialising in producing EVOH packages and retort pouches was satisfied with the new line performance. This line was commissioned and started at a stable output in December 2013. This new addition to the existing equipment will allow Express Plaspack Co. producing greater variety of packaging goods.
