10 Nov 2011 - OPP Film S.A., part of the Oben Holding Group, is already one of the leading producers of BOPP films, and the largest CPP film manufacturer in Latin America. Continuing their way to the absolute top, OPP Film recently added another Brückner 8.7m wide high speed BOPP line to their train of film production machines.
It is part of a double investment, line number two will go on stream in February 2012, expanding their total annual capacity to more than 180,000 tons of BOPP film.
Additionally, with an upcoming 6.2m Brückner CPP line, impressing with a name plate capacity of 20,000 tons per year, OPP Film will boost their cast film capacity up to approx. 39,000 tpa. With all these new lines together OPP Film can offer large quantities of high quality BOPP and CPP film and thus further strengthen their position at the forefront – not only in Latin American but in U.S. markets as well.
The company’s amazing rise is also the result of a longstanding partnership with Brückner.
