14 Nov 2011 - Chinese film producer Zhejiang Great Southeast and Brückner Maschinenbau successfully started the world’s first CPP line with a 6.6m wide die. With a name plate capacity of 16.000 tons per year and a net film width of 6.2m it will further strengthen Great Southeast`s position as a major CPP film supplier in China.
The company is already producing first class metallized and laminating films for the packaging industry on a 4.2 m Brückner CPP line and operates several Brückner film stretching lines for BOPP, BOPET and PP capacitor films – all in all making Zhejiang Great Southeast one of the biggest film suppliers in China.
Mr. Huang Fei Gang, Director of Zhejiang Great Southeast, is very proud of the unique new CPP line: “From the moment we thought of an extra-wide CPP line, Brückner was our first choice. The tremendously smooth line start clearly showed that we had made the right decision: Saleable film on the winder and production speeds above 200 m/min very quickly after start-up fulfilled all our expectations.”
